Information

On behalf of the city of Frankfurt we warmly welcome all visitors of the NIGHT OF MUSEUMS! Once a year, most museums in Frankfurt and Offenbach open their doors at night. We hope you will enjoy an adventurous and exciting evening with lots of new impressions.

Not only their contents make the Frankfurt museums predestined for night-time cultural enjoyment, but also their location. The majority of the City's museums virtually rub shoulders along the Museumsufer, the Main riverbank. A complimentary shuttle bus service connects all establishments, so that even those off the beaten track can be reached easily.

Tickets cost € 17 per person and are available at all participating museums and at local ticket agencies in advance. Additionally, you can get an online ticket in advance online at www.museen-tickets.de/ndmDuring the event, tickets will be available at most of the museums from 7 p.m. onwards. Children under the age of 12 get free admission.

For ticket holders, the access is free to all participating museums and locations listed on this website. Unlimited use of the public transport (RMV), shuttle busses and the historic tram are also included.

Tickets for reduced admission cost € 12 and are available online and at selected sale points. They are valid for children between the ages of 12 and 18, students, Federal Volunteer Service workers, unemployed persons, severely handicapped persons and owners of the Frankfurt Pass and Culture Pass; available on presentation of a valid credential.

For Museumsufer Cardholders, the access to the locations and the use of the shuttle busses is free. Please note: The MuseumsuferCard does not include the public transport.

Shuttle buses will operate between 7 p.m. and 2 a.m. — you can find an overview of the lines here. Please note that not all the stops are accessible for handicapped persons.
